Over Lois
I'm Lois, a native German speaker, born and raised in Germany but currently living in the Netherlands, who also spent four years living in the UK, where I completed my Bachelor's degree. Living abroad gave me a first-hand understanding of what it's really like to learn and use a second language day-to-day, not just in a classroom, but in everyday life, university, and work.
Before tutoring languages, I taught chemistry to young kids, which taught me how to break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps - a skill I bring into every lesson. But what really drives me isn't the subject itself; it's watching someone grow. There's nothing quite like seeing a student go from hesitant to confident, whether that's nailing a grammar concept they've struggled with or finally holding a full conversation without hesitating.
I bring patience, structure, and genuine enthusiasm to every lesson, and I'm always happy to adjust my approach to fit how you learn best.
