Over Simon
I'm a native French speaker currently studying Classical Guitar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I offer French lessons for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners looking to improve conversation, grammar, or exam prep.
My lessons are friendly, patient, and adapted to your goals — whether you're learning for travel, work, family, or just for fun. I have two years of experience teaching one-on-one (guitar), so I know how to keep lessons structured, engaging, and focused on real progress.

My lessons focus on spoken French — real conversation, not grammar drills or writing exercises. The goal is simple: get you talking, confidently and naturally.
Each lesson is built around speaking practice: everyday conversation topics, roleplay situations (ordering food, asking for directions, chatting with friends), and pronunciation work to help you sound more natural and lose that "textbook" accent. We'll also work on listening comprehension, so you get used to understanding real, spoken French — not just the slow, clear version from apps.
Lessons are relaxed and interactive: I'll correct you gently as we go, without interrupting your flow, and we'll revisit tricky sounds or expressions as needed. Little to no writing — this is about building your ear and your mouth, not your grammar book.
