Hello, my name is Pamela, and I am originally from Trinidad and Tobago, where English is my native language.
Over the years, I have developed a deep passion for languages. I taught myself both French and Dutch, reaching near-native fluency in both. I lived in France for five years, and I've been living in the Netherlands since 1990. My language skills have played a crucial role in my work with various international companies, where I frequently applied my knowledge of multiple languages.
Since 1997, I have been doing translation work, which has given me a strong understanding of the intricacies of language. My passion for education also comes from assisting fellow students with language learning and academic support in the past, where I discovered how much I enjoy teaching. I’m confident that my personal experience in learning languages, along with my enthusiasm, will help me guide students in their English learning journey.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, photography, stargazing, and playing golf. I also love taking long walks to relax and stay inspired.
I look forward to helping others improve their English skills and making the learning process enjoyable and rewarding!
