Over Abigail
I am 21 years old and I come from Cape Town, South Africa. I have grown up in an English speaking household and I have completed my entire education in English. Therefore I would say I am quite proficient in the language. :) Since the age of 18 I have been babysitting children and helping them with their homework, which includes orals, essay writing, learning how to read and grammar. I have been living in the Netherlands for just over two years, I first arrived as an Au Pair and I lived with my dutch family for a year while caring for their three children. As their Au Pair I also had to help them with homework and teach them English. After my year was finished I decided to stay in the Netherlands to study, which I am currently doing. I am non-judgemental and very easy to talk too.

I charge 21euro an hour. I am able to teach students from the ages of 4 through to 18. I take on a very patient and nurturing approach as I have found that it works best. I explain the theory and then we work through some examples together. I also find that giving some exercises for the students to work on by themselves at home is very useful and I am able to help them with anything they struggled with in the next lesson. I have no teaching qualifications however I have been tutoring students as a part-time job while completing my degree in Marketing.
