Over Stassi

Hello! My name is Stassi, and I’m a passionate and qualified English teacher with several years of experience helping students achieve their language goals. I hold an internationally recognized TEFL certificate and have taught learners from a wide range of backgrounds, from high school and university students to working professionals and beginners just starting their English journey.

My lessons are structured, engaging, and always tailored to your individual needs. Whether you're preparing for an exam like IELTS or TOEFL, working on academic or business English, or simply aiming to improve your fluency and confidence, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I believe that language learning should be practical, motivating, and enjoyable, and I do my best to create a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere.

With a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, and a clear, communicative teaching style, I will help you progress quickly and steadily. I take pride in being reliable, patient, and fully committed to my students' success.

Let’s work together to unlock your full potential in English!

Over deze les

As an English teacher, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment tailored to each student's goals and learning style. I use a mix of communicative and task-based methods, which means we focus on real-life language use through conversation, writing, listening, and reading exercises. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, improving your academic writing, or simply building confidence in speaking, I adapt each lesson to your level and pace.

A typical lesson starts with a short review of previous material, followed by a clear lesson objective—for example, improving pronunciation, learning phrasal verbs, or writing an argumentative essay. I use authentic materials such as articles, videos, and podcasts, combined with structured exercises to build grammar and vocabulary. We always finish with a short recap and a bit of feedback so you know what to work on next.

My strengths lie in clarity, patience, and helping students gain confidence in their language skills. I have experience working with high school (VWO/HAVO), university students, and adults preparing for IELTS or TOEFL exams. My lessons are ideal for intermediate to advanced learners, but I also work with motivated beginners.
