Hi, I’m Yi! Originally from China and now based in Den Haag, I’m passionate about languages, culture, and meaningful human connections. With experience in communication, marketing, and international environments, I bring an open, friendly, and adaptable approach to teaching.
Teaching Chinese isn’t just about grammar and tones—it’s about helping you feel confident and curious as you explore one of the world’s oldest and most beautiful languages. Whether you're starting from scratch or already have some knowledge, I’ll meet you where you are and guide you at your pace.
In my lessons, I combine structure with creativity. I love integrating real-life content like music, film, and cultural stories to keep things fun and relevant. My goal is to make each session engaging, effective, and tailored to your personal goals.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me enjoying good food, traveling, exploring art and design, or diving into a good book (sometimes in Chinese, sometimes in English ).
