Over Mathew
I'm mechatronics engineer with a masters from TU Delft. Two things I am passionate about are technology and teaching. I received excellent feedback from students while was teaching a course at ETH Zurich in Switzerland, and I realized I had found my passion. To me teaching is not a job, but something that I love doing. I spend a lot of time trying to understand and think about a topic from the viewpoint of someone who is new and not an expert, which helps me come with with clear, concise and intuitive explanations of the most difficult concepts.

I start with the students level, and see what he/she already knows. It's often much easier to teach through analogy, and to compare it with existing knowledge. My focus is on understanding and appreciating the concepts, and seeing beyond the equations. Whenever possible try to link the scientific concepts to experiences from daily life.
