Over Tatiana
I have a Bachelor's in Mathematics from NYU (summa cum laude) and a Master's in Algebraic Topology from Uni Bonn. Currently I am pursuing a degree in Illustration in Rotterdam (a big change, I know!), but my first love was always Maths :)
I have an orange cat Oscar and I have lived in 7 countries so far.

I have experience with teaching A-levels, IB and SATs, including exam prep. My approach is to tackle the fundamental understanding of the concept: the most effective tool I can give you is your own mind.
Usually I start my lesson with a theoretical explanation and later proceed to sample problems. It is very important to combat a sort of panic that sets in sometimes when the solution isn't clear straightaway: we sit in it and learn to take it slow and go step by step.
I also have extensive experience in Olympiad math, so if it is something you are interested in, I can help you out with that too.
