My name is Ismael Gimenez and I was born and raised in Valencia, Spain. I am a very outspoken, hardworking person. I am fully committed to give my all to our lessons and take great pride in my communicative skills. Maths are something I love and genuinely enjoy teaching. Can't wait to meet you!

When it comes to teaching, I am flexible and ready to adapt to each student’s specific needs. I usually ask students to contact me before our first lesson so that we can arrange a free-of-charge rendez-vous to meet and discuss their learning objectives.
I am prepared to assist in the learning process of all mathematics up to upper highschool level. If following the IB Diploma, you have found a match made in heaven. I was once an IB soldier to and I am prepared to guide you in such a challenging process.
In my classes I like to introduce a system called "flipped learning" in which I ask students to solve fundamental questions before our lessons which they then have to explain to me. This allows the student to gain confidence in the field, and makes me identify any gaps in their knowledge so that we can make the most out of our lessons.
Of course, the introduction of this method or any other, will vary according to the individual needs and preferences of each student.
I have signifcant experience teaching maths in both english and spanish. Having studied at international school my entire life, I am prepared to confront and teach mathematics in english, which non-native speakers tend to struggle with.
