Over Estellei
I have been working as a face-to-face tutor in French Literature and Grammar, Philosophy and History for 7 years. For 5 years I have worked as a professional language teacher in both private and public schools, at university and in businesses for all ages in both group and individual settings. I have also provided preparation courses for French certifications: DELF, DALF, TCF, and TEF exams. Having worked in the Exam Center Alliance française in Kazan (Russia) as a French Expert and Trainer, Examiner and Corrector for the exams, I am very well versed with the demands of all the certifications. I am a certified examiner for the TEF and DELF exams.

Learning a language with a positive mindset enhances your personal qualities and boosts your self-confidence. It is a process of achievement of yourself much deeper than a simple communication.
I was given the chance to learn 6 languages and I would like to share this amazing experience with you. I am a native French speaker and professional language teacher, graduated from the Sorbonne University in French, literature and Russian. I teach for over 8 years and I lived in different countries working for the Alliance française for all levels in schools and companies.
I teach with a positive mindset which transform the learning process. The classes are focused on conversation to gain self-confidence. Speak from the very first day!
My belief is that each student is different and requires a tailor-made lesson to meet that student’s needs and goals.
Concretely, I base my courses on the four essential competencies: speaking, listening, writing and reading, always focusing on your personal goals and motivation. I progressively integrate phonetics, grammar, conjugation, vocabulary in the courses which always include practical exercises.
The pedagogic materials I choose are mostly authentic materials or « realia » (that is to say anything created for native speakers: texts from literature, newspapers, radio podcasts, videos, songs...). Indeed, I am convinced that the learning process has to tackle « real subjects », as languages are alive and constantly changing. My main challenge is to help the learners to be able to « think » in the second language. The debate is the heart of my classroom, but always in a playful way, through many role games — for me learning a language is first and foremost a great joy!
The classes take place at the Central OBA of Amsterdam, at your work in Amsterdam or by skype.
