Welcome to my Chinese class! I’m Josie. I come from Hainan Island, the southernmost part of China. I am a native Simplified Chinese speaker and I’m currently pursuing my second bachelor’s degree in The Hague.
I have six years of professional experience as a game host and event commentator. I speak standard Mandarin and I am good at explaining and breaking down content. My teaching techniques and methods
‑ I teach Simplified Chinese. I design personalized lessons based on each student’s current level and learning goals. Before lessons, I use short questions and a simple form to understand your situation.
‑ Thanks to my host and commentator background, I have perfect standard Mandarin and can explain content in an easy‑to‑follow way.
What a typical lesson looks like
‑ Lessons cover pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and situational dialogues. **I encourage students to speak Chinese as much as possible during class.** Homework support and correction are also available. We will briefly review progress at the end of each class.

‑ Native‑level Simplified Chinese; custom‑tailored lessons; Chinese homework tutoring; sharing Chinese culture and fun stories.
