Hi!
I am Becky, I was born and educated in England but am now living and working in the Netherlands with my partner and 2 grown-up children. I am a fully qualified teaching assistant who spent several years tutoring children of all ages in Lanzarote, Spain where I lived for 8 years.
I have trained and worked with children with Special Educational Needs and can offer patience, support and creativity for children with ADHD and ASD.
My aim is to improve the way your child approaches learning. A happy and eager learner will ultimately be a more successful student in the future. Praise and positive reinforcement will foster a sense of achievement and increased confidence in your child.

Our lessons will start with completing homework tasks and from this I will determine the areas your child needs further help with. Making sure your child is comfortable and enjoys working with me is a crucial first step.
English, Maths and Spanish are my core subjects but most are covered except Dutch, Latin and French.
I offer small group homework classes in person in central Amsterdam as well as private one-to-one help.
Lessons will be crafted and geared towards the child's specific needs with age and competency level taken into account.
Making our time together enjoyable is extremely important to me - I want your child to enjoy learning as much as I do!
