Over Brunella
Hi! I am Brunella and I am doing a bachelor's degree in International Relations and Organizations at the University of Groningen. I was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and moved to Guatemala at the age of 12. I am bilingual, speaking fluent English and Spanish. During my middle school and high school years, I took multiple advanced program classes in both languages.
Ever since I can remember, I have been very engaged in community activities and social work, which has led me to have a lot of learning and teaching opportunities. I am used to teaching to younger students (mostly elementary), but I am also open to tutoring different age groups. All that is required is motivation!

I would consider my teaching style somehow peculiar. If possible, I try to avoid the usual teaching methods of repetition and memorization; I prefer dynamic learning. Using tools like music, films, artistic expression, engaging exercises, entertaining conversations, and more have proven to be very effective for my past experiences.
I have had multiple teaching opportunities growing up. During my teenage years, through mostly volunteering projects and some small jobs, I tutored on subjects like Spanish, English, math, debate, robotics, and general homework help. Not only this but, as a troubled learner myself, I am quite flexible with my students and understand that we all absorb information at different paces and in different ways. Tolerance and patience are key in my teaching style. Responsibility, fun, and engagement follow up to these.
