Over Patrick
I’ve been playing guitar since I was a teen, over twenty years ago now!
I have played in many bands in that time, across a variety of different genres (60s, folk, Irish, rock, blues, shoegaze, punk, ska, post-hardcore).
I have a couple of albums of my own stuff out there, and even got featured in Rolling Stone Espanol recently!
I achieved FETAC qualified trainer status while still living in Ireland, and learned a lot about teaching.
I would love to teach people some of the guitar skills I have picked up over the years, and share the love I have for this instrument and music!

I think the best way to learn is to be enjoying the process.
We will focus on your goals, like learning a song you love, and tailor the lessons to give you the tools and techniques to do it.
We will assess where you are at currently and where you want to be and how you can get there.
We will look at the songwriting style, key and chords, chord progressions, and lead lines. We will explore theory in a practical sense, and at a level you are comfortable with.
My Dutch is ok, I can get by, but am definitely more comfortable teaching in English!
