Over Jakob

For the past three years, I have been teaching as a teacher in side subject at the Stuttgart Conservatory of Music. In this role, I have gained extensive experience working with both beginners and advanced students. In addition, I served as a choir director for three years and worked with singers who were not professional musicians, which is also a form of teaching.
In Stuttgart, I initially studied church music and took courses in organ, improvisation, conducting, and music theory. Afterward, I studied voice, including courses in pedagogy and methodology.
As a student, you can bring whatever you’d like: a piece in any style (organ), a question, a choral or solo piece (voice) or simply the joy of making music and we’ll find an approach that works for you!

Over deze les

I don’t have a set lesson plan. How we structure the lesson together depends on each individual student.
My main goal as a teacher is to show my students how they can learn independently in singing as well as in organ and music theory.
It’s important to me that my students don’t just copy my exercises, but understand the meaning behind musical expression. As a teacher, I offer students support and an outside perspective to help them express music and master technique.
