Over Jane
I am Jane and I have taught English in the Philippines for 5 years. I am now enrolled at Leidse Onderwijsinstellingen (LOI) as an HBO student to become a secondary school teacher of the second degree in Languages - specialization in English.
Since then, teaching has already been my passion and so, I have told myself to not to stop from learning the said language.
I do believe that learning is a lifelong process and that we still learn new things every day.
Therefore, I would be so pleased to impart my knowledge to you and on the same way, learn something new from you.

Starting a lesson with a short motivation to stimulate learners' participation is superb. My former students love it!
Then I introduce the lesson's objectives through small games and/or short video clips.
I use the "I do" "We do", and "You do" techniques in giving my lessons.
I offer extra English lessons to Grade 8 and VMBO students who have difficulties in reading, speaking and spelling.
