Over Maureen
Hi! I teach drawing and painting. I specialize in acrylic and pencil portraits, and I also have a wide range of knowledge in different materials such as oil pastels and ink. Sketching from life with pen or pencil is also a valuable skill I can assist with.
I was in an art school for 5 years and continued improving my skills over the last two years.

These lessons are for all ages. I am happy to assist anybody curious about arts (and crafts) on their artistic journey. My main domain is to teach beginners to intermediate artists.
The lessons and their content will be adapted to what your wants and need are :)
Examples of what I can teach:
- The lessons can be based on smaller exercises to train the eye and hand. Here the main focus is to provide you with drawing excises, and give immediate feedback.
- The lessons can also consist of the creation of bigger projects, such as larger portraits. Here I will guide you through the steps from choosing the right reference photos to the final details of a painting.
Though I am new to teaching art, I have always loved giving feedback to fellow artists and motivating them.
Also, as you might have noticed, I do not speak any Dutch :/ I hope that that won't be an issue
