I am a qualified primary school teacher with a Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching and over four years of classroom experience. I have taught a full range of subjects, including English, Mathematics, Afrikaans, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences, which gives me a well-rounded understanding of the primary school curriculum.
Originally from South Africa, I bring both international teaching experience and a strong academic foundation to my lessons. I am fully fluent in English and Afrikaans, and I am confident in supporting learners in English. I am also comfortable working with children from different backgrounds and learning styles.
In my classroom experience, I have worked closely with learners who need extra support, including those who struggle with concentration, spelling, and understanding instructions. This has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and the ability to explain concepts in simple, clear ways.
I am reliable, well-prepared, and committed to each learner’s progress. I take pride in creating lessons that are not only effective, but also engaging and encouraging. My goal is always to help learners feel more confident, capable, and motivated in their schoolwork.

I am a qualified primary school teacher with over three years of experience, mainly teaching Groep 7 (Grade 5 equivalent). I am passionate about helping children improve their results while also building confidence and a positive attitude towards learning.
My teaching approach is both structured and supportive. I create a calm and encouraging environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. At the same time, I maintain clear goals and expectations to ensure steady progress. Each lesson is adapted to the individual learner—whether they need extra support, more practice, or an additional challenge.
A typical lesson begins with a short recap to reinforce previous learning. I then introduce or revise a topic using clear, step-by-step explanations and practical examples. We practise together first, followed by independent work where I guide and support the learner. I always end with a short summary to consolidate understanding and build confidence.
My main subjects are English and Mathematics. I also support learners with reading comprehension, spelling, and writing skills. I have experience working with learners who need extra support and benefit from patience, structure, and consistent guidance.
My lessons are intended for primary school learners in Groep 6–8. I work with learners who are struggling, those aiming to improve their performance, or children who want to strengthen their understanding and feel more confident in their schoolwork.
