Over Eliza

Hi, I’m Eliza, a native English speaker from the UK with a First-Class degree from UCL and top grades in English Literature and Language. I am currently completing a Psychology Master’s at the University of Amsterdam. I am reliable, friendly, and patient. I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable building their skills and confidence.

Over deze les

My lessons are personalised, supportive and adapted to each student’s goals and learning style. I use a combination of conversation practice, structured exercises, written feedback, and practical examples to make lessons engaging and relevant depending on your requests!

A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous material, followed by focused work on the student's preferred area, including grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, comprehension, or writing. We then practise applying these skills through discussion and exercises, before setting clear goals for the next lesson.

I can help with conversational English, academic writing, presentations, professional communication, confidence building, and more. My background in psychology also helps me explain ideas clearly and adapt my teaching to different learning needs.
Lessons are suitable for beginners through to advanced learners, including school pupils, university students, professionals and anyone wishing to improve their everyday English.

Lessons are available in Amsterdam or online.
