Over Tamara
I'm Tamara, an Italian from Sardinia who has been living in The Netherlands for 12 years. I hold a Master's degree in Crisis and Security Management from Leiden University and spent years working as a consultant, where communication, training, and explaining complex ideas clearly were a core part of my job.
As someone who moved abroad and learned Dutch (and English!) as a foreign language myself, I know exactly what it feels like to sit across from a native speaker and feel lost, or to have things explained too fast, too formally, or without patience. I bring that empathy into every lesson.
I'm calm, encouraging and genuinely enjoy the moment when something clicks for a student. Languages have always been central to my life — I speak Italian, English, Spanish Dutch, and a little French — and I love sharing that passion with others. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your fluency, I'll meet you exactly where you are :)

As a native Italian speaker with a Master's degree and years of professional experience in training and communication, I know how to explain things clearly and make language feel accessible rather than intimidating. A typical lesson combines real conversation, practical vocabulary, and grammar in context. Lessons take place in Amsterdam or online.
All levels welcome: complete beginners to advanced speakers.
