Over Masha
As a fourth year Pharmacology student at McGill University, with a strong background in Biology and Chemistry, I bring both academic expertise and practical scientific understanding to every session.
Having completed the IB programme at the International School of Amsterdam with 41 points and high grades in Biology and Chemistry, I understand the pressure students face and what is required to succeed. I know the common challenges in IB and GCSE science courses, and I help students overcome them with clear explanations, structured revision, and effective exam strategies.
Alongside my studies, I am completing a cancer research internship, which gives me valuable hands-on experience in laboratory science, data analysis, and modern biomedical research. This allows me to connect classroom topics to real scientific applications and make lessons more engaging.
My lessons are always prepared in advance, tailored to the student’s needs, and delivered in a patient and encouraging environment where questions are always welcome. I believe students perform best when they feel comfortable, motivated, and confident.

My teaching style is focused on clarity, structure, and confidence-building. I break down difficult Biology and Chemistry topics into simple steps, helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorise facts. I adapt each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style, using diagrams, active recall, exam-style questions, and real examples from science and medicine.
A typical lesson begins by identifying weak areas or goals, followed by clear explanation of the topic, guided practice questions, and exam technique. We finish with a summary and a plan for what to review next, so progress is consistent.
My strengths include strong subject knowledge from studying Pharmacology at McGill University, first-hand success in the IB programme, and experience explaining complex scientific ideas clearly. I also help students improve revision strategy, time management, and confidence before exams.
Lessons are intended for IB Biology and Chemistry HL/SL students, GCSE Biology/Chemistry students, and younger students needing support in science. Whether you need long term tutoring, revision before exams, or help with specific difficult topics, my lessons are personalised to your goals.
