Over Hannah
I was born in Canada 33 years ago. I have two younger brothers and my mother is an elementary school teacher. She definitely gave me her love and passion for teaching!
I’m an adventurous and fun-loving person! I’ve been traveling around the world for three years and teaching English along the way.
I have a degree in Fashion and a diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
I’m a creative, friendly and warm teacher. I like to get to know my students and involve myself with their interests. Bonding and connecting with them is one of my favorite parts of teaching!
My style of teaching is more relaxed and conversationalist. However, if you prefer to learn by grammar and notes we can also vary the classes. An example of one of my classes would be to chat about a topic that interests you- then relate the topic to an activity. For example, the topic could be...
food: then we chat about your favorite foods, traditional foods, etc. After this, we could visit your local bakery or snack shop!

Learning English should be as natural as you learned your native language: you couldn't read or write and you had no idea of grammar rules, but you were constantly exposed to the language by observing people and movements, playing and discovering.
In my class you will take an hour out of your day to practise your conversational skills with me. You’ll be exposed to the language while chatting about topics that interest you, also while doing fun activities. This way you'll associate images, sounds and words and will learn English naturally. Every class with every student is different depending on the topic and the level of English the student is at.
