I am 28 years old working at LUMC and EMC as a PhD researcher in the fields of Epigenetics, Epidemiology and Biomedical data sciences. I have obtained my Masters and Bachelors in Molecular Biology and Genetics. I have several years of teaching experience not just in private tutoring but also with teaching big classes as part of my Masters and PhD. I feel being a teacher comes in with a lot of responsibility, not just to impart knowledge but also to encourage students to be curious about the world around them. I have been appreciated by my students as the best teacher they ever had and I value those compliments a lot. I truly enjoy teaching and building good relationships with my students so they fully enjoy the time they spend in their lesson.

My lessons can last from 1-2 hours depending on the topic of study. I have had experience of private teaching with various students of several levels in the past ranging from 5th graders to undergraduate students. My methodology focuses on building concepts in a critical way followed by problem-based learning to fully understand concepts. I focus also on building the analytical power and teach thinking strategies to approach several problems. Learning is not memorization it is the ability to reason and adopt new things.
