By incorporating basic principles of biochemistry and chemistry (think: protein building blocks and energy-producing reactions!), I lay the groundwork for a deeper understanding in later years. Students are encouraged to ask questions, fostering a classroom environment ripe for discovery and exploration.
In high school, my curriculum delves into the intricate mechanisms of life. Dissections are not just observations; they become opportunities to unravel the complexities of anatomy and physiology. I utilize real-world examples to make complex topics like cellular respiration and genetics relatable. Students don't just memorize; they solve problems, analyze data, and actively participate in scientific inquiry.
