Over Julie
I am a native French speaker with a strong passion for music, education and personal development. I have been practicing the piano since the age of six and have benefited from the guidance of several teachers, which has enriched my musical and pedagogical approach.
Later, I also learned to play the harp, which broadened my musical sensitivity and understanding of sound, listening and expression. My main background is in classical music, but I am very open to students’ musical preferences and personal interests. Playing pieces that students truly enjoy is, in my opinion, essential for motivation and long-term progress.
I enjoy helping children and adults discover music in a relaxed, joyful and supportive way. I value patience, empathy and clear communication in my teaching.
My goal is to create a safe and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and progressing at their own rhythm. I currently teach in English or French and am committed to continuously improving my teaching skills.

My piano lessons are based on a positive, patient and encouraging approach, focused on developing musical pleasure and confidence from the very beginning. I strongly believe that joy and motivation are essential for long-term progress.
A typical lesson includes warm-up exercises, simple technical work, learning songs adapted to the student’s level, and developing musical listening skills. I adapt each lesson to the student’s pace and interests.
With children, I use playful methods and creative activities to make learning enjoyable. With adults, I focus on relaxation, confidence and personal musical goals.
Lessons are offered in English or French, for beginners of all ages, in a supportive and stress-free environment.
