Over Annika
My name is Annika Feldhaus, and I am 19 years old. I am currently studying communication science at the university of Amsterdam, and moved here a few month ago. I am Mexican and German so I speak, read and wright these three languages and am able to teach in them as well. I have given class before and I am comfortable changing my teaching approach to acomódate the student and make sure that the class is interesting, motivating and engaging! I also play the guitar and have professional experience singing in musical theater. I graduated with 15 points in music in my high school Abitur, so I am also comfortable tutoring high schoolers in music if needed!

I start my lessons with a brief introduction where I like to get know the student, their interest for this class and their experience with the instrument. Then I make sure that through out the lessons, I explain a bit of theory and essential book knowledge for the student to be able to practice on their own without trouble and to expand their curiosity for the instrument. I do work a bit differently with kids than with adults, I make sure that when I teach kids, I make the class entertaining to be able to keep them focused throughout the lesson. I am 19 years old and I have been teaching piano for around a year in and a half in Mexico. I have more expiring with younger students than with adults, but I am able to teach whoever is willing to learn!
