Over Fabian
My name is Fabian Bradfield. I live in Bussum and am currently a first-year student at Utrecht University. As I hold both Dutch and British nationality, I was raised bilingually in Dutch and English. This strong foundation was further developed during my childhood in Los Angeles, where I lived for three years and attended a full-time English-language school. To officially certify my English proficiency, I took the TOEFL exam and achieved a score of 102.
Since returning to the Netherlands in 2019, I have had the unique experience of completing the English curriculum at both HAVO and VWO level. This has given me a thorough understanding of the differences between these programmes and the challenges students commonly face. Alongside my passion for languages, I enjoy helping others and volunteer with elderly people living with dementia.
With my international background, native-level English, TOEFL certification, and experience with both the Dutch and English education systems, I look forward to helping you improve your English skills, build confidence, and achieve your personal learning goals—whether you’re aiming for higher grades, preparing for exams, or simply becoming a more fluent and confident English speaker.

As a motivated and enthusiastic university student with a passion for the English language, I enjoy helping students build their confidence and achieve their learning goals. As a native English speaker who was raised bilingually (Dutch/English), I use English every day and have native-level proficiency. Combined with my background in English-language education and my experience completing both the HAVO and VWO English curricula, I have a strong understanding of the language as well as the challenges students commonly face.
My approach
I believe in a patient, supportive, and results-oriented teaching style. Every lesson begins by identifying the student’s strengths and areas for improvement, followed by clear explanations and practical exercises tailored to their individual needs. Thanks to my experience with different educational systems, I have developed a wide range of effective teaching methods that I adapt to each student’s learning style and goals.
