Over Linda
Ciao! My name is Linda, and I am an experienced language teacher with more than 26 years of teaching experience and over 10 years of online teaching practice.
I am a native Italian speaker and I speak English too. I specialise in helping adults learn practical Italian for travel, holidays and everyday communication. Having lived abroad for many years myself, I understand how important it is to feel confident when speaking a foreign language in real-life situations.
My lessons are designed for travellers who would like to prepare for an upcoming trip to Italy, whether it is a short city break, a summer holiday or a longer stay. Together, we will focus on useful vocabulary, authentic dialogues and the expressions you will actually need in restaurants, hotels, shops and other everyday situations.
I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, practical and tailored to your individual needs. Every lesson is adapted to your goals, level and pace, creating a friendly and supportive environment in which you can improve your communication skills and gain confidence before your journey.
I look forward to helping you discover the beauty of the Italian language and culture and to making your next trip to Italy an even more memorable experience!

Whether you are planning a weekend in Rome, a summer holiday on the Italian coast, or a longer stay in Italy, these lessons are designed to help you communicate confidently in everyday situations and make the most of your trip.
With more than 26 years of teaching experience, I offer practical and engaging lessons tailored to travellers and holidaymakers who want to learn useful Italian before their departure. The focus is on real-life communication, helping you acquire the vocabulary and expressions you will actually need while travelling.
During our lessons, you will learn how to:
• book a hotel and check in;
• order food and drinks in restaurants and cafés;
• ask for directions and use public transport;
• go shopping and communicate in local stores and markets;
• handle common travel situations and emergencies;
• interact naturally with native Italian speakers.
Lessons are personalised according to your goals, destination and previous knowledge of Italian. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some experience with the language, the course will help you build confidence and improve your speaking and listening skills.
The lessons combine practical dialogues, pronunciation exercises and cultural insights to ensure that you feel comfortable using Italian in authentic situations. By the end of the course, you will be able to navigate your trip with greater ease and enjoy a richer and more immersive experience in Italy.

Linda is een betrouwbare en fijne Italiaanse docent. Ze legt duidelijk uit, is geduldig en zorgt voor een prettige leeromgeving. Daardoor krijg je snel vertrouwen en durf je de taal actief te gebruiken. Een aanrader voor iedereen die Italiaans wil leren!
Linda’s teaching style is energetic, positive, interactive, creative, and above all very practical. She actively involves you in the lesson, uses playful and surprising working methods, thinks along with you like a coach, and gives examples you can apply immediately in everyday life. Thanks to her pleasant way of teaching, I’ve been able to give my Hungarian a real boost again. Highly recommended!
