Over Aishu
As a tutor, I prioritise clear communication, patience, and a structured approach to learning. I am a recent IB Diploma graduate (2026), which allows me to understand the IB curriculum from a student’s perspective and explain it in a clear and relatable way.
Although I am new to formal tutoring, I have strong firsthand experience with the IB programme and understand the challenges students face in subjects like Mathematics AA HL, Biology HL, Chemistry SL, and others. This helps me explain topics in a way that is simple, structured, and focused on exam success.
I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding step by step, and improve their exam technique over time.
I carefully adapt each lesson to the student’s level and needs, focusing on weak areas and turning them into strengths through clear explanations and guided practice.
My lessons are suitable for IB students who need help understanding content, improving exam performance, or building confidence in their studies. I teach in English and adjust my approach to match each student’s learning style and goals.

I base my teaching on clarity, structure, and helping students build confidence in subjects they find difficult. As a recent IB Diploma graduate (2026), I understand the challenges of the IB programme from firsthand experience, especially in Mathematics AA HL, Biology HL, and Chemistry SL.
My approach focuses on making complex topics simple and accessible. I specialise in helping students who may be struggling or feeling overwhelmed to build a strong foundation step by step, rather than rushing through content.
A typical lesson starts with reviewing key concepts to identify gaps in understanding. I then explain topics in a clear and structured way, using simple examples to make them easier to grasp. We then practise exam-style questions together, focusing on how to approach them logically and avoid common mistakes. At the end of the lesson, I give feedback and small targeted exercises to reinforce learning.
What I focus on most is helping students understand how to think through IB questions, not just memorise content. This includes breaking down problem-solving steps, improving exam technique, and building confidence over time.
My lessons are best suited for IB students who want support in understanding difficult topics, improving their grades, and becoming more confident in exams. I teach in English and adapt my explanations to each student’s level and pace.
