Hello there! I'm Livia, and I'm thrilled to share the joy of music with you. Get ready for a one-of-a-kind musical journey!
My musical adventure began when I was just 8 years old at a little music school in Italy. There, we used to blend theater and music playing to create wonderful shows at the end of each year. I continued my musical journey by enrolling in the Conservatoire at the age of 11, and I've been playing ever since, culminating in my Master's degree at 21.
Throughout my musical journey, I've had a myriad of experiences, from performing in concerts and chamber music ensembles to participating in festivals, shows, and even composing my own music. Additionally, during this time, I began teaching privately.
After completing my second Master's degree at 23, I decided to dive into music teaching more professionally. While already employed at a private music school, I also joined a public institution with a special music program for instrumentalists. I spent a whole year there before deciding to pursue my passion in the Netherlands.
What truly drives me is my commitment to customizing my teaching approach to meet your unique needs and interests. I firmly believe in making music an enjoyable and pleasurable experience from the get-go. Instead of delving too deeply into technicalities right away, I'm all about getting you playing music from the very start. After all, having fun forms the foundation for a lifelong love of music.

I started teaching when I was just 16 years old, and I've taught in both private and public schools in my home country. I've worked with kids prepping for exams at the Conservatoire and young adults just looking to have some musical fun.
I always start from the student's needs, meeting them and trying to convey the pleasure of making music, without ever losing sight of the fun, which is the basis of everything. I often kick off with students from square one, getting them playing music right away without getting bogged down in too much technique talk. Don't get me wrong, technique is crucial, but it's a means to an end, not the end itself. I firmly believe that to truly savor music, you've got to be both a musician and an instrumentalist. To play, imagine, think, and live music more deeply, you've got to understand it inside and out, not just perform it.
I work with folks of all ages, from sprightly 5-year-olds to the young at heart who are over 70. My schedule is super flexible, with lesson times ranging from 45 to 120 minutes. Let's make some music together!
