Over Danai
I'm a composer and performer based in Amsterdam. I graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2018 and since them I have been working on personal projects with a focus on mixing different art forms.
I am also working in the production of music theater shows with Stichting I/O.
Teaching is something I like to do in my spare time.

The lessons are open to anyone from 4 years old and above as I have a 7 year teaching experience with both children and adults.
As a composition graduate from Conservatorium van Amsterdam I offer a stylistically open approach, based on the wishes/needs of each student.
A variety of possibilities regarding the focus of the classes with piano as a starting point, including general music knowledge, ear-training, song-writing, music theory.
When it comes to piano teaching, I find it important to teach in an overall way, that incorporates ear-training & theory together with piano playing. This way i find that the lesson becomes much more stimulating, and it also becomes much more easy to learn.
I believe it is never late to start learning music and that learning to make music is firstly a fun and then a challenging adventure.
The duration of the classes depends on the needs and age of the student, typically between 30' - 1 hour.
The lessons can be done in Dutch, English, French, Italian or Greek.
