Hi, I’m Rikst! Born and raised in the Netherlands, but since 2018, I’ve embraced a nomadic lifestyle. Currently based in Portugal, I teach students from all over the world, helping them master Dutch in a fun and dynamic way.
Quality, intuitive learning materials? Check. Engaging, personal lessons? Check. A broad approach covering grammar, pronunciation, speaking, and vocabulary? Check.
And what about your journey into learning Dutch? I’m excited to support you in exploring this (new) language. For the past 3 years, I’ve been teaching both individual and group lessons to students from around the globe, guiding them through the unique, sometimes challenging, but always exciting world of Dutch.
Whether you’re aiming to improve your skills for work, travel, or daily conversations, I’m here to help you stay motivated and on track. My goal is to equip you with the confidence to speak Dutch anytime, anywhere, and with anyone.

I share my knowledge in an interactive and patient manner, allowing students to progress at their own pace.
I always structure my classes in advance, to create a smooth and efficient class experience. But at the same time I'm always open for adapting to your specific needs. After all we're humans and unpredictable!
