Over Alexandra
I have obtained the Sorbonne C2 - Diploma in French language and literature, and I greatly enjoy helping others improve their knowledge and fluency. My Psychology bachelor's degree and current master's study programme in Clinical Psychology have provided me with opportunities to practice and develop my communication skills, my patience, and my ability to effectively engage with a person, adapt to their preferences and learning style, and encourage them in a productive and fun way.
I also have experience specifically with children and teenagers, as I have previously worked as a Game Master in an escape room for young people.
My love for the French language has consistently followed me from a very young age, and I love to find new ways of maintaining and evolving my fluency level.

I help students reach their language goals, whichever those may be. The student should know how to speak basic English so that we can communicate, otherwise they should be willing and capable of doing the whole lesson in only French. I have a passion for French literary texts and French culture; a passion that I am happy to share with my students, because I believe language learning should be a process of fully emerging oneself into a different world and mindset, and fluency is achieved through dedication, forming habits, getting out of our comfort zone.
I am very organized in my planning of the lessons, however I have a lot of flexibility with regards to how the student feels comfortable being taught (for example, some people learn more effectively by using visual cues, or through listening and speaking). I am open to discuss in order to form a lesson that is ideal for the individual's needs!
