Hello! My name is Sofia, and I am a native Italian speaker with a degree in Communication from Milan. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree at the University of Amsterdam (UvA), where I continue to develop my academic and intercultural communication skills.
Whether you are learning Italian for travel, work, school, exams or personal interest, I will help you build confidence and improve step by step in a friendly and supportive environment. Trust me, I know what it means to learn a new language. I attended a language-focused high school in Italy ("Liceo Linguistico"), where I studied 3 foreign languages. I understand the difficulties students may encounter, but also how rewarding the process can be.
My goal is not only to teach the language, but also to help students discover Italian culture and communicate naturally in real-life situations.
I welcome students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners, and I look forward to helping you achieve your language goals :)

As a native Italian speaker with a degree in Communication, I can help students not only with the Italian language itself but also with cultural aspects and effective communication.
My lessons are suitable for everyone and are tailored to each student's goals and needs. Even when I was living in Italy, I regularly helped elementary, middle school, and high school students in a variety of subjects. This experience has made me capable to adapt my approach to different ages, learning styles and educational needs.
A typical lesson usually combines grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening and conversation practice, or any other area you wish to work on!
