Over Cristal
Hello! I am Cristal, an English and Chinese tutor living and studying in Zeeland. I am from Singapore, a rather multilingual and multicultural country, so it is my passion to teach the languages that I grew up with! I have taught at tutoring centres and privately since 2022, to students of various ages, backgrounds, and interests, so I am used to being very flexible with my teaching style. For an approachable, fun, yet educational language-learning experience, have a class with me!

I take a very personalised approach to teaching, where I believe that understanding goes two ways -- I will strive to understand my student's needs and interests, and tailor my lessons accordingly. Languages are flexible, and not formulaic, after all. Depending on your proficiency level, we will either start the class with some basic pronunciation, or a simple conversation. I will then introduce you to some vocabulary and grammar, both in terms of how to read and write. My classes are for people learning both conversational and more professional/educational Chinese.
