I’m a first-year Data Science and Artificial Intelligence student at Leiden University. I’ve always enjoyed mathematics, physics, and problem-solving, which led me to choose a degree focused on these areas.
Before university, I studied at an international school, where I developed a strong academic background in mathematics and physics and became comfortable studying and communicating in English. I also hold a Cambridge C2 Proficiency qualification.
I enjoy helping others understand subjects that can initially seem difficult. I’m patient, approachable, and happy to explain a concept in different ways until it makes sense. I believe that tutoring should be interactive and adapted to the student, rather than simply going through a textbook.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy programming, sports, and creative activities. I’m looking forward to helping students build both their knowledge and confidence in mathematics and physics.

Each lesson is adapted to the student's level, goals, and current difficulties.
I usually start by reviewing what the student already knows and identifying the areas they find challenging. We then work through the concepts step by step, using clear explanations and practical examples.
For mathematics and physics, I focus on understanding the reasoning behind each method, rather than simply memorising formulas. We work through exercises together, gradually moving from guided examples to independent problem-solving.
Depending on the student's needs, lessons can focus on:
- Understanding difficult concepts
- Homework and exercises
- Exam preparation
- Revising and strengthening fundamentals
- Learning problem-solving methods
- Working through past papers and practice questions
I encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes during lessons, as this is an important part of learning. My goal is for students to become more confident and eventually be able to solve problems independently.
