I’m Bogdan, a trilingual master’s graduate in Business Economics from KU Leuven. I’ve lived in Belgium since I was three years old (I’m 23 now), and am a native speaker of Dutch and Russian, while being fully fluent in English.
I’ve been passionate about languages from an early age — starting with English and French, then studying Latin and Ancient Greek, which deepened my understanding of linguistics. More recently, I’ve begun learning Spanish. Growing up in a multicultural environment and learning languages connected to different cultures has given me valuable insight into the cultural nuances that shape how we communicate.
In addition to my own language-learning journey, I’ve also tutored English to classmates and Dutch to family and friends. Through these experiences, I discovered that traditional methods focused only on textbooks and grammar drills aren’t always the most effective way to learn. That’s why I combine the best elements of multiple teaching styles — helping you learn grammar and vocabulary in a fun, practical way, and applying them through interactive exercises tailored to your interests. For those who are curious, I also like to incorporate cultural aspects of Flemish and Dutch life into my lessons.
I’m patient, curious, and always open to a good laugh during lessons. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to polish your Dutch, I’ll help you reach your goals in a fun, effective, and supportive way. Tot binnenkort!

You’ll speak Dutch from day one through real-life examples, short dialogues, and interactive exercises. I always make sure the lessons stay engaging and practical — learning should be both effective and enjoyable!
How lessons work:
- 1-on-1 online sessions (30 or 60 minutes)
- Personalized learning plan based on your goals (conversation, grammar, pronunciation, culture, etc.)
- Combination of interactive speaking practice, listening, reading, and short writing tasks
- Optional homework and review notes after each session to track your progress
