Olá, tudo bem?
I’m Paola, I’m 26 years old, a Brazilian teacher (and a very proud Brazilian) who has been living in Europe for the past few years.
The truth is, I’m probably at my happiest when I’m traveling. Traveling is my biggest passion, and I think it completely changed the way I see people, cultures and communication. Somewhere along the way, that curiosity about people and languages turned into a real love for teaching.
In 2022, I went to Greece alone for three weeks. At that time, I was still learning English, I didn’t speak any Greek, and I arrived there with just my backpack and a dream. I came back with friendships that I still have today and many stories to tell.
I’m sharing this because I think it says a lot about my personality. I’m communicative, curious, open-minded, spontaneous and easy-going. I really enjoy meeting new people, hearing about their lives and learning from different cultures.
Because of that, my classes tend to feel more like a good conversation than a formal lesson. Of course, there is structure, preparation and a clear goal behind every class, but I like keeping things natural, relaxed and enjoyable.
A random fact about me: I absolutely love horses. Enough to have a tiny horse tattooed on my leg.
And yes, I will probably also try to convince you at some point that Brazilian food, music and culture deserve much more attention than they get!

My lessons are fully personalized, because I believe every student learns differently. Instead of following the same method with everyone, I adapt each class to your level, goals, interests and learning style.
I want Portuguese lessons to feel light, dynamic and enjoyable: the kind of class where you are learning a lot without constantly feeling like you are “studying”. We work with real situations, natural conversation and topics that are actually relevant to you, while building vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and confidence along the way.
Brazilian culture is also an important part of my lessons. I love sharing not only the language, but also the expressions, habits, music, food and everyday culture that make Brazilian Portuguese so unique.
I also bring a multicultural perspective to my teaching. I have experience teaching Dutch students and I have lived in different European countries, which has helped me understand how people from different backgrounds communicate, learn and experience a new language.
My goal is to create a comfortable environment where you can speak freely, make mistakes without pressure and gradually become more natural and confident in Portuguese!
