Over Maurizio
I am an Italian mathematician and I have one year and a half experience in teaching math, physics and science in person and online.
Lately I got interested in the possibility to expand my horizons and include my own native language in my freelance teaching activity.
I have lot of experience with language exchanges, so I already know how to organize a language lesson and I have lot of material at hand.

If under some aspects, like phonetics, the Italian language might be an easy language, under other aspects, like grammar, it might be a very tough language to learn.
Personally, I value grammar a lot, so in that regard I can assure you that what you will be learning from me is 100% correct Italian. This might sound obvious to you, but it is really not. Why so? Because in Italian the difference between the (properly) written and the spoken language is huge and it happens very often that foreigners are taugh Italian in a way that might still be acceptable in spoken conversations but would look really weird on paper.
Nevertheless, it is certainly important to go through the ideosyncrasis of the language in order not to sound weird when talking either. My aim is to keep the help the student improve in the various aspects of the language in a balanced way.
From a B1 level on, Italian would supposedly be the only language used in the lesson. At lower levels Italian will be combined with the language you are more comfortable with among English, Dutch or Spanish.
I can find books and notes for you or even produce personalized materials upon request!
