I have been playing the guitar for 12 years and I have been a guitar teacher for nine of those years. I have a teacher's degree in Biological Sciences and I believe my teaching strategy and expertise translates really well to teaching the instrument.

I believe that the most important thing a teacher can do in this information age is to guide the student through all the content available online and motivate him to study on his own. I use the flipped classroom methodology, in which I write a study guide for each student to help him know what he should be working on a day-to-day basis. I use Google Classroom as my online platform and a bunch of online apps to help with content variety - texts, videos, images, books, etc.
