Over Ariel
Bonjour! I'm a bilingual French speaker and an IB Diploma student at an international school. French has always been part of my daily life, and I love sharing it with others, whether that's helping someone finally understand a tricky grammar rule or watching them gain confidence in conversation.
Before joining the IB, I studied in the Swiss school system, so I've experienced different ways of teaching and learning languages. Today I take French A in the IB, a demanding literature course where I analyse texts, write essays and give oral presentations in French. This gives me a clear understanding of what schools and examiners expect, and practical strategies to help my students succeed.
Being a student myself, I know how it feels to struggle with a subject, and I remember what actually helps. I'm patient, well-organised and reliable: I prepare every lesson in advance, follow each student's progress, and always give honest, encouraging feedback.
I look forward to meeting you in our first lesson.
À bientôt!

As a bilingual French speaker, I bring natural fluency, authentic pronunciation and a real feel for how the language is used every day. I'm also an IB Diploma student taking French A (the literature-level course), so I work daily with French texts, essay writing and literary analysis. I know from experience what teachers and examiners expect, and I can explain it in a simple, practical way. Because I learned French alongside another language, I understand the difficulties learners face and how to make learning a new language easier. Lessons can be fully in French for immersion, or with explanations in English for beginners.
each lesson will adapt to what the student is looking for:
Warm-up (5–10 min): a short conversation in French to activate the language
Main focus (30–35 min): the topic we agreed on, such as a grammar point, text analysis, essay work or exam practice
Practice (10–15 min): applying what we learned through exercises, writing or speaking
Wrap-up (5 min): a summary of key points, feedback and a short task for next time.

Great communication and friendly person! I found her incredibly helpful and thanks to her my french has really begun to improve!
My daughter was behind on French in high-school, and Ariel was such a great help! She is very professional, easy to communicate with, and reliable. She replies very fast and is able to adpapt to changes effectively. Elaine really enjoyed her lessons with Ariel, and I have heard a lot of good things from her teachers about her improvement. All in all, Ariel is great! :)
