Over Bela
I’m an International Relations and Public Affairs professional with an academic background in International Relations, Political Science, Economics and Sociology. I have experience working on international policy, government relations and political affairs, which allows me to bring both academic knowledge and real-world perspectives into my lessons.
My goal is to make complex topics clear, engaging and relevant rather than simply asking students to memorise information. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s level, goals and pace, and I encourage questions and discussion throughout the lesson.
Whether you need help understanding a difficult concept, preparing for an exam, improving an essay, or simply want to become more confident in a subject, I aim to create a friendly, supportive and judgment-free learning environment where you can learn at your own pace.

How I teach
I believe the best learning happens when concepts are understood, not memorised. My lessons are interactive, structured and adapted to each student’s level, goals and learning style. I use real-world examples, discussions, visual explanations and practical exercises to make difficult topics easier to grasp.
Typical lesson structure
* 5–10 min: Quick recap of previous material and identify any difficulties
* 15–25 min: Introduce and explain the new concept in a simple, structured way
* 15–20 min: Work through examples, questions or case studies together
* 10–15 min: Student applies the concept independently with my guidance
* Final few minutes: Recap key takeaways and identify what to practise next
I adjust this structure depending on the subject and the student.
My specific skills
I specialise in political science, international relations, international security, public policy, economics and current affairs. I can also help students develop academic writing, essay structure, research skills, critical thinking, presentation skills and exam preparation.
With an academic background spanning Economics, Political Science, Sociology and International Relations, as well as professional experience in government and public affairs, I particularly enjoy connecting theory to what is happening in the real world.
Who my lessons are for
My lessons are suitable for high-school and university students, as well as anyone looking to strengthen their knowledge of politics, international relations, economics or related social sciences.
I can support students preparing for exams, essays, presentations, university assignments or simply looking to build a stronger understanding of a subject. I am happy to adapt the difficulty and pace to beginners as well as more advanced students.
