Over Claudia
I am a 27 years old professional flutist coming from Cuba and stablished in The Netherlands since almost three years ago. I finished my Master degree last year in Fontys Academy in Tilburg.
Currently I am working as freelance musician and professor. I have been the Dwarsfluit teacher at CKE Eindhoven for two years by now. I regularly play as substitute in several professional orchestras like The Nederland Philharmonic Orkest and Metropole Orkest as well as flute player of my own Wind Quintet: Aires Tropicales.

I adjust my lessons to the level, needs and interest of each students, which makes it very personal.
I also teach all ages students ( Dwarsfluit from 8 y/o) and the method vary from children to adults.
For beginners students I would normally start :
1-showing them all the possibilities of the instruments and introducing them to some flute music world.
2- Parts of the instrument and its functions.
3-Introduction of the physical aspect of playing the flute ( muscles involved, body position and postures)
4- Breathing system to play the instrument and how to manage the air.
5-Lip technique to blow into the instrument.
6- Fingering and coordination of movements between fingers.
7-Execution of sounds (From the easiest to more difficult)
8-Music scales and first step exercises Following Horen, Lezen and spelen method book )
For initiates students:
-I will help them, based on my own experience and some technique methods to improve and polish their technique to reach more beauty in their playing.
-We will work based on their favorite music style, finding new repertoire
-We can work on chamber music playing with two or more flutes.

Specificaties
The lessons duration can vary: 20 min, 30 min, 45 min, 60 min. The price is directly proportional to the time of the lesson except 45 min = 40 Euros ; 60 min = 50 Euros.
