Over Valerija
Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
I am Valerija Satibaldijeva, a professional classical singer and violinist, graduate of Codarts Academy of the Arts. I perform internationally in opera productions, concerts, and festivals, and have sung in prestigious venues such as De Doelen, the Concertgebouw, and the Opéra National de Bordeaux. In 2025, I was a prize winner of the Vienna International Music Competition
As a teacher, I combine professional stage experience with a warm, supportive and structured approach. My goal is to help students build strong technique, musical understanding and confidence, while enjoying the learning process!
I believe that learning music should feel inspiring, safe, and motivating. In my lessons, I create a warm and respectful environment where students feel comfortable exploring their abilities and growing at their own pace. I value clear communication, preparation, and consistency, and I am fully committed to supporting each student with care and professionalism. Whether you are just beginning or continuing your musical journey, you are very welcome here.

What I teach:
Singing
Opera/Classical and Pop singing, breathing techniques, register development, vocal freedom, interpretation, and stage presence. Text coaching in Russian, English, French, German, Latvian, and Spanish. Preparation for conservatory entrance exams, competitions, and auditions.
Violin
Individual violin lessons for beginners to advanced players, focusing on posture, sound production, technique, and musicality.
Music Theory & Rhythm
Music notation, rhythm, ear training, dictation, and essential music theory, with elements of music history to deepen musical understanding.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, hobbyists, advanced students, and those aiming for professional studies. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, goals, and personality.

Specificaties
Lessons include personalized instruction, thoughtful preparation, and guidance tailored to each student’s level and goals. Lessons take place online or at my home in a focused and comfortable setting.
I offer a 30-minute free trial lesson so we can get to know each other and discuss expectations in a relaxed way. Basic lesson materials are included. If additional services are requested, such as working with a pianist for auditions or exams, extra costs may apply. I can also accompany students myself when appropriate.
The regular lesson fee is 45 euros per hour. Any additional arrangements are always discussed in advance.
Lessons are taught in English, Russian, Latvian and Ukrainian. I also understand Dutch and German, and students who speak these languages are very welcome. For the best learning experience, lessons are most comfortable in English, Russian, or Latvian and Ukranian.
