Hi!
My name is Rafael and I am a percussionist since I am 14.
During my musical studies I had the chance to delve into a few genres and music styles such as: classical, Jazz, Pop and Brazilian Music.
I have a bechelor in Percussion from the Rotterdam Conservatory.
Currently I am an active musician in a few projects and I teach for the last 7 years.
If you would like to learn percussion for hobby, passion, or improving your existing skills, I am looking forward to meet you and I am sure we will have a great time :)

Our percussion lessons are planned according to the needs and goals of every student.
These lessons are open to all levels from absolute beginner to experienced percussion students.
We will learn how to explore different Rhythms from basic grooves, to advanced techniques, always in a fun, practical, creative and musical way.
My areas of expertise are:
- Pandeiro & Brazilian percussion;
- Vibraphone and other melodic percussions in the context of classical, Jazz and world;
- Different grooves on cajón and hybrid percussion setup combining different instruments (shakers, woodblock, cowbell, etc...)
Lessons can be done online and I have a flexible agenda to suit your needs.
