I’m always eager to be her student because her lessons extend beyond the poses. I learn a lot about the deeper philosophy and purpose of yoga itself. In our sessions she tailor-fits everything to what I bring to the mat—my energy, intentions, and givens—and she offers me guidance that feels both challenging and safe. I’m constantly surprised by what my body can do during yoga, and Yona is right there to guide, witness, and celebrate each breakthrough. Over time she has become more than a teacher; I consider her my soul sister.

Yona has been helping me with her yoga in a different style, since i started with her in january. Its like she is giving my body the space to choose what style of yoga it needs for the day, which at some point we were doing Yin, i never knew til then i could enjoy Yin.. totally recommend her!!
