Over Keerthi
I am a doctoral researcher at the University of Warwick supin the UK with a diverse, international scientific background and a deep passion for unlocking both the complexities of the natural world and the expressive power of the human voice.
My academic journey began with a Master's degree from the Central University of Kerala, followed by a year of intensive research at the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) in Trivandrum. This foundation propelled me to a PhD at Warwick Medical School in the UK, a journey that was further enriched by invaluable research exposure at the National Institute of Genetics (NIG) in Japan.
Throughout this global trajectory in developmental biology, I have spent years investigating the molecular mechanisms of early life using advanced genetics, mass-spectrometry, and high-resolution imaging. This rigorous training across top-tier institutions has taught me not just how to conduct complex research, but how to break down highly technical concepts—from basic cellular biology to advanced transcriptomics—into clear, digestible, and engaging ideas for students of all levels.
Beyond the laboratory, singing is my creative discipline and secondary area of expertise. I believe that mastering a science and mastering an art share surprisingly similar foundations: both require solid technique, consistent discipline, and the courage to express what you know.
When tutoring biology, my goal is to help students move past rote memorization to truly understand how biological systems work, adapting my approach to fit their specific GCSE, A-Level, or university curriculum. When coaching vocals, I focus on helping students build healthy vocal habits, reliable technique, and performance confidence. Whether we are analyzing cell structures or refining vocal pitch, I am dedicated to creating a supportive, highly personalized environment where you can discover your full potential.
