Over Gabriel
I have been programming for eight years and started tutoring students in programming since the beginning of last year. I've been tutoring overall for four years now with a specific focus on English fluency and Mathematics. Over the course of my time as a tutor, I've had a total of forty students.

I like creating hands-on lessons in which students actively engage with the lesson materiel. Within programming, this means creating lessons in which students actively create programs under my guidance that helps them learn the materiel in an interactive way. All of my lessons are tailored to what the student wants to learn. For example, I had a student who was interested in artificial intelligence, so to teach him the basic principles of how AI functions I helped him build a basic stock analyzer. I had another student who was interested in creating games, so I used game concepts to teach him the fundamentals of programming .
Lessons can be head via a virtual environment (Skype, Google Hangout, Discord etc) or in-person if the student lives in Amsterdam. All age ranges and levels (including no experience) are invited. The programming language of instruction (Python, Java or C#) is chosen based on the students input/goals.

Excellent! My first lesson from Gabriel was promising. If I'm not able to learn Python, it will most likely be my own shortcomings. Gabriel is smart, communicative and patient and I’m looking forward to work with him.
