As a passionate and experienced programmer, I am committed to helping my students excel in C++ and algorithms. My background in computer science from two prestigious institutions—Eindhoven University of Technology and West University of Timisoara—gives me a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of programming. I have worked as a Junior Software Developer, where I gained real-world experience developing and optimizing software. My achievements in robotics and competitive programming, including winning national and international awards, further demonstrate my expertise.
I approach teaching with the belief that anyone can learn to code if they are guided with the right tools and mindset. I inspire my students by breaking down complex topics into manageable concepts and providing them with hands-on experience. Every class is designed to be interactive, allowing students to practice coding in real-time while receiving personalized feedback. I teach essential algorithms—such as backtracking, the Sieve of Eratosthenes, arrays, matrices, and more advanced concepts—while ensuring my students are confident in their abilities.
My lessons are suitable for learners at all levels, from beginners who are just starting out to more advanced students aiming to master challenging topics. I offer one-on-one online sessions that not only cover the theoretical basis but also focus on practical coding exercises. Each week, I assign homework to reinforce learning and ensure continuous improvement.

My Teaching Approach:
Teaching Techniques and Methodology:
My teaching is highly interactive and hands-on. I believe in the "learn-by-doing" approach, where I introduce programming concepts such as C++ algorithms (backtracking, arrays, matrices, etc.), explain their theory, and then immediately move on to practical examples. During our online sessions, I guide students through writing code themselves. We solve problems together, and I encourage questions to ensure deep understanding. Each week, I assign homework that reinforces the concepts, ensuring consistent practice and retention.
Lesson Duration:
Each lesson typically lasts between 60-90 minutes, depending on the complexity of the topic and the student’s learning pace. This flexible timeframe allows us to thoroughly explore concepts without feeling rushed, yet keeps the session engaging and focused.
Qualifications and Experience:
I am currently pursuing a Computer Science degree at Eindhoven University of Technology and West University of Timisoara, with a solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and programming languages like C++ and Python. I have real-world experience as a Junior Software Developer intern, where I improved internal software efficiency and dealt with complex data systems. In addition, I have earned various programming and robotics awards, such as the World Robotics Championship Judges' Choice Award and Romania’s National Olympiad in Informatics. These experiences have equipped me with both technical expertise and teaching skills, as I have mentored students in algorithmic problem-solving.
Target Audience:
My lessons are designed for a wide range of learners, from beginners just starting out with C++ to more experienced students looking to improve their understanding of more advanced topics, like dynamic programming and binary trees. While most of my students are high school or college-level, I welcome anyone with an interest in programming and a willingness to learn. My teaching is tailored to each student’s level, ensuring that the lessons are both accessible and challenging.
How My Lessons Work:
We meet online for each session, where I introduce new topics, work through examples together, and leave students with weekly homework to apply the concepts on their own.
