Over Adrian
My name is Adrian Colbath, and I am a recent university graduate with a Bachelors' of Science. I have been playing percussion for nine years. I have played in concert bands, jazz bands, and various other musical groups. I primarily teach drum set, but I can also provide limited guidance for marimba, xylophone, glockenspiel, timpani, and auxiliary concert percussion.
Teaching and tutoring are passions of mine which I have pursued on and off for around 6 years. I have professional experience working with younger age groups, from ages 5 upwards.
My mentors include Andrew Lefebvre, who is a long time band director, and Venlo Odom, a professional drummer and recorded artist.

I am a bachelor's graduate with experience in concert percussion, jazz percussion, and drum set. I also have professional experience gigging in the real world. My expertise lies in:
- Music theory
- Musical technique (drum set, mallet percussion)
- General knowledge, such as industry skills for professional musicianship
-All ages, children to adult
I prioritize the learning process, with a focus on building knowledge and creating a solid foundation. I give in-person lessons as well as take-home material as part of my teaching.
I also tailor lessons to the student's goals. Doing this involves a consultation during our first 1-2 sessions.
